Dr. Baker was raised nearby in Massachusetts, studied at Governor Dummer Academy then moved west to University of Montana for his undergraduate degree. Returning east he worked at the Harvard School of Public Health. He then attended Tufts Veterinary School, graduating in 1987. After a few associate positons he opened his own office in the Seacoast back in 1995. While enjoying working with others in larger multiple doctor settings Old Town Animal Hospital is a concious effort to re-connect with clients. The small, intimate setting allows for direct communication, personal relationships and quality care for your beloved pets. Dr. B. has three wonderful daughters and is still married to his high school girlfriend, Robin. He enjoys golf, skiing, gardening among a few hundred other things.
Dr. Raidoo is originally from South Africa, moving to western Massachusetts in 2002. She went to Hampshire College for her undergraduate degree, before attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completing her clinical year at Cornell University in 2013. She completed an extended internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Saratoga, New York before getting married and moving to New Hampshire. She is excited to be back in New England and to join the Old Town team, and she looks forward to building relationships. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, riding and training her horses, the beach, cooking, reading, and lobster.
Laurie C. joined our technician staff in April of 2007. She has been working in veterinary medicine for over 30 years. She loves to spend what time she can outside riding her bike or spending time with her son and her dogs. When she has a moment to relax you can usually find her making candles or reading.
Kim joined our technician staff in April of 2010 with an Associate’s in Veterinary Technology and a Bachelor’s in Zoology. She has been working as a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2008. She spends some of her off time teaching Marching Band and Winter Guard. In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking with her dog or curled up on the couch with her cats and a good book.
Samantha joined our technician staff in August of 2013. When’s she is at work she enjoys dancing and singing around the hospital. We are not sure what she does on her off time.
Kelli joined our office staff in August of 2010, she has worked in the veterinarian field for over 26 years. She loves the ocean, enjoys wood crafts, gardening during the warmer months and enjoys spending time with her family and her 2 cats Bean and Gertrude.
Jenn joined our office staff in July of 2012, with 10 years customer service experience. She loves spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, four wheeling, fishing or just relaxing on the beach.
Melissa joined our office staff in April of 2010, she came to Old Town as a receptionist after being involved with customer service for over 7 years. In her free time she likes to be with friends or just relaxing at home with her family, her dog and 4 kitties.
Jacqui joined our staff April of 2016, she graduated from UNH in 2008 with a Bachelors degree in pre-veterinary medicine and minor in animal behavior. She has been a veterinary technician since 2007. She received her certification in Canine Training and Behavior Modification and from Triple Crown Dog Academy in 2012, so if you need a trainer or a consult in behavior feel free to contact her. In her free time she loves to hike, bike, ski, snow-shoe and train her pack of dogs!
